Teen Fatally Shot In NYC Murder-Suicide, Police Say

Officers found a 17-year-old boy, identified as Neo Secaira​, with a gunshot wound to his chest​.

QUEENS, NY — Two people were killed after a gunman shot a teenager who then turned the gun on himself over the weekend, police said.

The incident happened on Oceania Street and 48th Avenue in Bayside, Queens, around 10:08 p.m. on Saturday.

Officers found a 17-year-old boy, identified as Neo Secaira, with a gunshot wound to his chest and a 28-year-old man, Frank Liu, with a self-inflicted gunshot wound to his head.

Both men were transported to New York-Presbyterian Queens Hospital, where they were pronounced dead.

According to reports, Liu allegedly shot Secaira over an apparent love triangle with an unidentified woman.

The woman was with Secaira when Liu reportedly approached him and shot him, police said.

Police recovered a gun at the scene. An investigation remains ongoing.
