Here are the top three stories in Queens today:

  1. CityMD, a popular chain of urgent care clinics, has temporarily closed 13 locations across the city — including three in Queens. The closed locations, CityMD Corona, CityMD Ditmars in Astoria, and CityMD Woodhaven, were shut down due to staffing concerns. The company didn’t say when it would reopen the clinics. (Ridgewood Post)
  2. A 27-year-old off-duty school safety agent was killed and two others were wounded in a shooting outside a bar in Queens, where all three were celebrating their birthdays. The shooting occurred outside of the Solletto Lounge on Steinway Street in Astoria around 4 a.m., and took the life of Mye Johnson. No arrests have been made, but police say the current investigative theory is that the suspect, who was denied entry into the club because he was armed, is Johnson's ex-boyfriend and waited for her to emerge. (WABC-TV)
  3. A dad has been sleeping in his car as he searches for his 14-year-old daughter. Octavius Beckett said he’s spent thousands of dollars on gas driving his SUV through four of the five boroughs, even going out of state to New Jersey and Pennsylvania in search of his daughter, Samaria, who went missing on Oct. 13. Beckett said he fears that someone is holding his daughter against her will. (WPIX 11 New York)
