Belmont Park Village To Celebrate Lunar New Year With Special Events

ELMONT, NY — Belmont Park Village has a festive weekend planned to celebrate the Lunar New Year.

On February 1-2, visitors can enjoy family-friendly events, dining and up to 65 percent off on designer fashion items. Belmont Park Village will offer several dining options early in 2025.

Watch a lion dance performance, an important ritual in Chinese tradition, on Saturday, Feb. 1 at 3:30 p.m. It begins in the Village Central Plaza and concludes with a celebratory moment at Streetside Café near the South Entrance.

On Saturday and Sunday, the Hóngbāo In-Village Sweepstakes allows guests to participate in an interactive game. Collect golden coins with purchases in the Village for the chance to win prizes, including gifts from participating boutiques and even a $1,000 Belmont Park Village gift card.

The Family Fortune Experience on Saturday and Sunday features a festive crafting activity for kids. They will have the opportunity to create origami animals.
