Post Office Employee Threatened, Mail Stolen From Residence: Weekly Crime Report
The Rockville Centre Police crime report is for activity from Sept. 22-28.
ROCKVILLE CENTRE, NY — Rockville Centre police report four items in the weekly crime report from Sept. 22-28.
On the morning of Sept. 22, an employee of the Rockville Centre Post Office reports being threatened by an irate customer, police said.
On the afternoon of Sept. 23, police said an Osbourne Place resident reported an unknown person had been stealing mail out of their mailbox.

Police describe an "unusual incident" that took place on Sept. 22, when a Lincoln Avenue resident reported their phone number was transferred to an unknown account to steal personal information, authorities said.
On Sept. 28, a South Centre Avenue resident reported that someone had altered a check mailed through the U.S. Postal Service.
