Sleep Disorders Center Opens In Valley Stream
The state-of-the-art facility will help diagnose and treat various sleep disorders.

VALLEY STREAM, NY — Long Islanders have a new option for addressing medical issues surrounding their sleep.
Long Island Jewish Valley Stream Hospital opened the Northwell Health Sleep Disorders Center.
Patients will get the latest sleep medicine technologies, including diagnostic in-lab sleep studies and positive airway pressure in-lab studies. Additionally, the Sleep Disorders Centers has extensive monitoring, including heart, respiration, and brain and muscle activity.

The unit has four bedrooms complete with all new furniture including queen-sized adjustable beds and mattresses.

Hospital is a state-of-the-art facility that is providing patients with comprehensive, personalized care for a wide range of sleep disorders," said Dr. Stella Hahn, MD, medical director of the Sleep Disorders Center.

Patients can seek consultations and treatments for sleep apnea, narcolepsy, snoring, insomnia and other issues linked to their sleeping patterns.
