Biden's Greenwich Visit Could Snarl Traffic In Westchester
The president will be visiting Connecticut this evening, but his motorcade route will start at Westchester County Airport (HPN).

RYE BROOK, NY — The president will be visiting Connecticut this evening, but his motorcade route will start at Westchester County Airport (HPN).
President Biden will be attending an event in Greenwich tonight. Starting at 5 p.m., King Street will be closed from Upper Lincoln Ave. to Anderson Hill Road. The president's motorcade will be the only traffic allowed as it heads to the engagement.
King Street is expected to again close for the president's motorcade when he returns from the event later tonight, according to the Rye Brook Police Department.

Biden will be in Greenwich for a re-election fundraiser, according to the Hartford Courant.
The event is scheduled at a private home in the "backcountry," the Courant reported.

Guests are expected to include Gov. Ned Lamont, U.S. Sen. Richard Blumenthal, and U.S. Rep. Jim Himes — all Greenwich residents — as well as U.S. Sen. Chris Murphy, former U.S. Sen. Chris Dodd and Lt. Gov. Susan Bysiewicz, among others, the Courant said.
