Con Ed Projects Will Keep Rye Turning

One of the projects is scheduled to be completed by Memorial Day and another project should be done by early June.

RYE, NY — The City of Rye announced that there are several Con Ed projects in the city starting Monday, some of which will last into late May or early June.

Gas main replacement work will start this week on Manursing Ave. Con Ed will be working in the shoulder of Manursing Ave. between Forest Ave. and Drake Smith Ln. One lane will be closed. The work is scheduled to take place from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m., Monday through Friday. The work is expected to be completed by the beginning of June.

Con Ed work will take place in the area of North Kirby Ln and Grace Church St. on Monday and Tuesday, from 8 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

Con Ed will be working in the sidewalk on Oakland Beach Ave., between Overlook Pl. and Forest Ave., starting Tuesday. One lane will be closed. The work is scheduled to be take place between 9 a.m. to 7 p.m., Monday through Saturday. This project is expected to be completed by Memorial Day.
