Driver Freed From Flipped Car At Boston Post Road And Playland Parkway
Firefighters arrived minutes after the single car crash was reported and found a vehicle on its side with a single occupant stuck inside.

RYE, NY — Not all of the excitement took place on the boardwalk this busy holiday weekend in Rye.
On Friday, shortly before 6:30 p.m., Rye firefighters arrived on the scene of a serious crash at Boston Post Road, near Playland Parkway.
Firefighters arrived minutes after the single car crash was reported and found a vehicle on its side with the driver stuck inside.

Firefighters first worked on stabilizing the vehicle and then used extrication tools to free the trapped occupant. Once removed from the car, the victim was treated by Port Chester/Rye/Rye Brook EMS.
Rye Police Department officers were first on the scene and assisted with traffic control during the busy weekend at the popular nearby amusement park and beaches .
