RowAmerica Rye Makes Waves At Summer Nationals
Rye brought home dozens of medals, including an under 17 singles championship by Lucas Liow and a 1st place U17 finish for Erin Hanrahan.

RYE, NY — While we were dealing with a stretch of rotten weather back home, the RowAmerica Rye rowing club was busy taking the US Rowing Summer National Championships in Camden, New Jersey by storm.
After dominating early time trials and qualifying races, Lucas Liow won the under 17 sprint men's singles at Cooper River. He edged out the competition with a time of 7:42.820. The effort was slightly slower than Liow's 7:40.437 best time in the semifinal heats.

The victorious week at the Summer National Championships comes on the heels of impressive performances at the New York State Rowing Championship and the Youth Nationals, both held in Saratoga earlier this summer. The club won more than two dozen first place medals and has claimed even more silver and bronze medals already this season.
