Rye Brook Man Charged with Violating Restraining Order

GREENWICH, CT - A 33-year-old Rye Brook man surrendered to Greenwich Police who had obtained an arrest warrant charging him with criminal violation of a restraining order.

The suspect surrendered at police headquarters on Tuesday. The warrant stems from an incident on Kirby Street in the Byram neighborhood of town that was reported Feb. 20.

The suspect, identified as Nicholas J. Rao, of 14 West View Ave., was released after posting a $10,000 bond. He was scheduled to appear Wednesday in state Superior Court in Stamford.
