Traffic Alert: I-287 Ramps To I-95 Will Close Over 4 Nights
Eastbound & westbound ramps on I-287 to I-95 South will be closed. The ramp from Boston Post Rd. to I-95 South will also close.

WESTCHESTER COUNTY, NY — You can't get there from here for the next few nights — at least not without detours that will route motorists through Connecticut and the Bronx.
The New York State Thruway Authority announced that ramps on the eastbound and westbound Cross Westchester Expressway (I-287) to the southbound New England Thruway (I-95) in Rye will close overnight on multiple nights for road repairs. The ramps are scheduled to close from 10 p.m. - 5:30 a.m. on Thursday and Friday of this week and then Monday and Tuesday of next week.

On eastbound I-287, the exit 12 ramp (NY/I-95 South) will close as well as the westbound I-287 ramp to southbound I-95. The nearby ramp from Boston Post Road (Route 1) to southbound I-95 will also close.
Drivers on eastbound I-287 should follow posted detours to northbound I-95 Exit 2 in Connecticut, an estimated two miles away. Passenger vehicles may alternatively take the Exit 9 to the Hutchinson River Parkway in order to access I-95 in the Bronx.

Variable Message Signs will be activated ahead of the work zone in order to alert drivers of the closures and detours.
The road work will be dependent on the weather and subject to change.
