Brookhaven To Host Drug Awareness Forum On Feb. 10
It will include topics like adolescent behavior and development, why adolescents experiment with substances, and current trends.
FARMINGVILLE, NY — Brookhaven officials will host a substance abuse education workshop at Town Hall on Feb. 10.
"The More You Know... Substance Abuse Education" is being offered by the Youth Bureau to students and parents.
The topics covered at the workshop will be “Adolescent Behavior and Development,” “Why
Adolescents Experiment with Substances,” “Current Trends in Adolescent Drug Use” and “Talking to Adolescents About Healthy Decision Making.”

Free drug testing kits will be available and light refreshments will be served.
The workshop will be presented in the 2nd floor Media Room.
