Brookhaven Town Officials Extend Non-Ocean Beach, Pool Hours Due To High Temps

FARMINGVILLE, NY — Brookhaven Town has extended the hours for Cedar Beach in Mt. Sinai at West and Main Beaches, West Meadow Beach in Stony Brook, and Corey Beach in Blue Point in response to the high temperatures expected on Thursday and Friday, officials said in a news release.

Lifeguards will be on duty and restrooms will be open from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m.

The town’s Holtsville and Centereach pools will also be open from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m.
