Employees Sickened By Bleach Mixture In Farmingville: Police

FARMINGVILLE, NY — First responders were called to a business in Farmingville after an employee accidentally mixed bleach and ammonia, making it difficult for coworkers to breathe on Friday night, Suffolk police said.

It happened inside a strip mall on North Ocean Avenue at around 10:20 p.m., according to police.

Four employees were evaluated on scene and declined further medical treatment, police said.
