Gunman Holds Up Nathan's In Holbrook

Man walked into restaurant with a gun and demanded money from the cashier.

Fifth Squad detectives are investigating an armed robbery that took place at the Nathan's Famous restaurant in Holbrook last night.

According to police a man entered the Nathan's on Grundy Avenue at around 7:18 p.m. on Oct. 3 and approached the cashier with a gun. The employee handed over an undisclosed amount of cash and the man fled to store.

The robber is described as a white male, approximately 5 feet, 9 inches to 5 feet, 11 inches tall, with blonde hair. He was wearing a gray sweatshirt at the time of the robbery.

The investigation is ongoing.
