Police Hunting For Men Who Used Fake Money In Lake Ronkonkoma

Police say men in the photograph passed off phony $20 bills at nearby sandwich shop.

Suffolk County Police and Fourth Precinct Detectives are asking for the public's help in identifying and locating two men they say used fake bills to make purchases at a Lake Ronkonkoma eatery.

According to police the men, pictured here, entered the Subway sandwich shop on Railroad Avenue at around 11:30 p.m. on Sept. 28 and used two counterfeit $20 bills to buy food and drink.  

Police are asking anyone with information about this crime or the identity of the two men, to call Suffolk County Crime Stoppers at 1-800-220-TIPS. All calls will be kept confidential.
