Public Hearing Set For Proposed Dunkin' Donuts In Blue Point
The coffee franchise could take over the closed Capital One bank site if approved; a drive-through is planned.

BLUE POINT, NY — A meeting has been scheduled by Brookhaven Town for a proposed Dunkin' Donuts at 60 Montauk Highway in Blue Point. The proposal seeks to create a drive-through on the corner of Blue Point Avenue, where a closed Capital One bank location has been vacant for some time.
The public hearing is slated for Thursday at 5 p.m. in the Town Board Auditorium, at 1 Independence Hill in Farmingville.
The developer Aditya Enterprises, Inc. is seeking variances to reduce the length of the line of cars that would wait in the drive-through line. The company is registered in Shirley.
