GREENBURGH, NY — A Scarsdale man is facing felony unlawful surveillance charges following a disturbing incident at a Westchester bookstore, police said.

On Saturday, the Greenburgh Police Department received a report about a troubling incident that happened on July 21, at the Barnes & Noble located at 381 N. Central Ave. During the incident, the victim reported that she noticed a man crouching down behind her with a cell phone in his hand under her skirt.

The victim told police that she confronted the man who then fled from the store in a red Honda SUV.

Greenburgh Police Department officers and detectives investigated the incident and arrested a suspect they believe was involved.

The suspect has been identified by investigators as Kun Cheung, a 66-year-old from Scarsdale. Cheung was previously arrested in May 2024 for the same offense, authorities said.

On Wednesday, detectives arrested Cheung and he was held at the Greenburgh Police Department pending arraignment.
