2 Men Hold Knife To Suffolk Resident After Trying To Steal Their Car: PD

The two men held a knife to a vehicle owner when they approached them during an attempted theft, police say.

LAKE GROVE, NY — Suffolk County Crime Stoppers is seeking the public's help finding the two men who, police said, attempted to break into a vehicle in Lake Grove in April.

Two men tried to break into a vehicle parked in front of a Briarberry Court home around 8:40 p.m. April 18, police said. When the vehicle owner approached them, the suspects displayed a knife and menaced them, police said. The two men are wanted for attempted burglary and menacing, police said.

A cash reward is offered for information that leads to an arrest.
