2 More Come Forward Against Nesconset Man Who Committed Lewd Act: PD

The man had been arrested in April in connection with performing a lewd act in his car in front of a mother and her daughter, police say.

NESCONSET, NY — A man arrested in connection with performing a lewd act in front of a mother and her 6-year-old daughter in April was arrested again Thursday after Suffolk police said two more victims came forward.

Jacob Levy, 27, of Nesconset, was arrested and charged with two more counts of public lewdness. He was held overnight and is scheduled to be arraigned at First District Court in Central Islip on Friday.

"Detectives are asking anyone who believes they may be a victim of Levy to call the Fourth Squad
at 631-854-8451," the department said.

Levy, in April, was driving a sky blue 2020 Honda Civic with black rims and was headed west on Route 347 when he pulled next to a vehicle driven by a woman whose 6-year-old daughter was a passenger at the intersection of Gibbs Pond Road, police said. Levy started masturbating in front of them around 3 p.m. April 22, police said. He was naked from the waist down, police said.

The mother exchanged words with Levy, took down his license plate number and called police, the department said. Levy drove away in the Civic, turning right on Southern Boulevard heading northbound, police said.

He was charged with first-degree public lewdness, public lewdness, and endangering the welfare of a child.
