  1. Residents can now access the details of the Nissequogue River State Park Draft Master Plan online and attend a meeting today at 6 p.m. If you can't participate in the meeting, a recording will be available to the public. Visit here to register for the session. (Smithtown Matters)
  2. A new project is on the horizon for reconstructing Route 347. The multimillion-dollar plan would add an overpass at the Nicolls Road intersection in Stony Brook. Residents interviewed by Newsday said the area is congested twice a day by students and staff of Stony Brook University/Hospital, Smith Haven Mall and shoppers. (Newsday/Subscription Required)
