$3,800 In Designer Sunglasses Stolen From Smith Haven Mall: Police

LAKE GROVE, N.Y. — Officers are asking for the public's help identifying three men who reportedly stole nearly $4,000 worth of merchandise from a Lake Grove store in August.

Police said the men stole multiple pairs of sunglasses valued at about $3,890 from Sunglass Hut, located inside Smith Haven Mall, around 6:40 p.m. on Aug. 23 before leaving the store.

Suffolk County Crime Stoppers is offering a cash reward for information that leads to an arrest. Anyone with information can submit an anonymous tip by calling 1-800-220-TIPS, using the P3 Tips mobile app, or visiting www.P3 Tips.com.
