3 Stole $1.5K Worth Of Sunglasses From Lake Grove Store: Police

LAKE GROVE, NY — Suffolk County Crime Stoppers is seeking the public's help finding the three people who, police said, stole merchandise from a Lake Grove store in December.

Two women and a man stole approximately $1,500 worth of sunglasses from Sunglass Hut, located in the Smith Haven Mall, around 7:45 p.m. Dec. 22, 2024, police said. The trio is wanted for grand larceny, police said.

Police ask anyone with information to reach Suffolk County Crime Stoppers and leave an anonymous tip via phone call at 1-800-220-TIPS, using a mobile app which can be downloaded through the App Store or Google Play by searching P3 Tips, or online at www.P3Tips.com. A cash reward is offered for information that leads to an arrest.
