5 Local Events to Hit This Week

The events calendar is packed this week with an open mic to a church festival and more.

Head over to St.Philip and James Church Festival, located at 1 Carow Place, for the church festival. Hours on Thursday are from 6 - 10 p.m., Friday and Saturday from 6 p.m. to 11 p.m., and Sunday from 5 -9 p.m. 

If you're interested in hearing the talent of local musicians then head over to Sertinos Cafe on West Main Street on Thursday for the open mic, starting at 7:30 p.m.

For the wine connoisseur, The Wine Guy will host a free tasing on Friday starting at 4 p.m.

Interested in knowing more about the town’s most prominent residential architecture? Check out "History Behind Four Walls: Smithtown’s Historic Houses" Tuesday through Thursday from noon to 4 p.m.

Head over to the Ghada Girls Belly Dance Studio to take a free beginners Belly Dancing and Tahitan Hip Hop class. The class is set for Wednesday at 2:30 p.m.
