  1. Police reported a fatal pedestrian struck on Veterans Memorial Highway in Commack on Wednesday night. Sadly, a 63-year-old man from Valley Stream was hit while crossing the road at 10:39 p.m. Police stated the victim was transported to St. Catherine of Siena Medical Center in Smithtown but was pronounced dead. Officials are investigating the incident and are asking eyewitnesses to contact 631-854-8452. (Smithtown Patch)
  2. The Irish Luck On The Farm at Smithtown Historical Society kicks off Saturday! The event starts at 11 a.m. featuring a petting zoo, step dancing, food and Irish heritage celebrations for $5 per person. (Smithtown Historical Society)
  3. The Smithtown Historical Society is also inviting the community for an exciting experience of a Model Train Show at the Brush Barn! We still have some ways to go since this gathering is scheduled for March 25, but it's worth marking it down on your calendar!   4. The Developmental Disabilities Institute (DDI) is hosting its 2023 Cornhole Tournament on Saturday, March 25. There will be games, food, refreshments, and much more for whoever shows up!
