- American Roadside Burgers announced its permanent closure of the Smithtown location, according to a note from the owners. They decided to close based on the rising costs of goods. The eatery has another location in Charlotte, NC, which remains open. (Greater Long Island)
- Multiple locations in the neighborhood will be hosting menorah lighting ceremonies.
