Police Offering Cash Reward For Information Leading To Arrest Of Whoever Egged Suffolk Property

The egg throwers are accused of criminal tampering, Suffolk police say — and a cash reward is being offered.

SMITHTOWN, NY — Suffolk police are seeking the public’s help to identify the trio that threw eggs on a Smithtown property in September.

At around 1 a.m. on September 25, three people threw eggs and struck a residence on New Mill Road, police said. Surveillance footage was captured from a nearby residence. To view a video of the incident, click here.

A cash reward is being offered by the Suffolk County Crime Stoppers for information that leads to an arrest.

Anyone with information about the incident can submit an anonymous tip by calling 1-800-220-TIPS using a mobile app, or online. All calls, text messages, and emails will be kept confidential.
