Children in Change Program Begins at Smithtown Youth Bureau
The program begins Monday.

A Minneapolis, Minn. based program designed to help children safely and confidently speak about family experiences is coming to Smithtown, beginning Monday.
The Smithtown Youth Bureau posted an announcement on Patch stating the six-week program, which focuses on local youth experiencing changing family dynamics including divorce, parents in jail, drug and alcohol dependencies, remarriage, homelessness and more, will begin March 11.
The one-hour a day program will take place every Monday in the Community Room of the Horizons Counseling & Education Center, located at 161 East Main Street in Smithtown.
