1. Attention boaters in the neighborhood, the gas dock at Long Beach is closed this Friday, July 14. The pump reopens on Saturday, July 15. The Town of Smithtown released a note apologizing for the inconvenience. (Smithtown Gov.)
2. The greatest local bands will take the crowd back to the 80s at the Deepwells Farm Summer Concert on Saturday! The music starts playing at 2 through 8 p.m. at 2 Taylor Lane St. on July 15. Click here for more information. (Smithtown Gov.)
3. No doubt the summer on Long Island calls for a nice scoop of ice cream! One of the best ways to support our local businesses is by visiting to enjoy a cold treat in the nearest creameries around you. 4. The St. James Farmers Market is sizzling this weekend. The community is invited to swing by on June 15 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Over 40 vendors will offer farm goodies and fun activities for all ages.
