- Dirty Taco & Tequila now serves its specialties in the Smithtown neighborhood! The newly opened eatery is at 716 Smithtown Bypass, in Smithtown. To check menus and hours of operation, visit dirtytacoandtequila.com. (Newsday/Subscription Required)
- The Town of Smithtown announced the approval of the demolition of a vacant building on Jericho Turnpike. The site is located at 1055 Jericho Turnpike with Indian Head in Commack. A Starbucks with a drive-thru plus 26 car spaces parking lot will be built at the location. (Smithtown Patch)
- The Eagle Scout Car Wash Fund Raiser supports projects at the Brookhaven Ecologic Center. The troop will be at Hauppauge High School on Sunday, June 25, washing cars for a suggested donation of $10 from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. This event benefits the Suffolk Scouting community! (Smithtown Matters)
