  1. Dirty Taco & Tequila is coming to Smithtown. The new eatery is taking over the vacant spot left by The Greene Turtle at 716 Bypass in Smithtown. The restaurant is owned by Tom Cataldo Jr., who got the inspiration during his college time in Los Angeles. (Greater Long Island)

Tender Years Treasury hosted by the Smithtown Recreation Department is set for Dec. 3 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Children can do Christmas shopping, cookie decorating, balloon sculpting and more at the Eugene Cannataro Senior Citizens Center, 420 Middle Country Road in Smithtown.   4. Nearby News: A man was arrested for stabbing his roommate in the chest over a loud music dispute. Police said Frank Liguori attacked the 31-year-old roommate because he played loud music at their residence on Merrick Road and Park Place. Liguori is facing assault charges. (LI News12)
