Domenico Ambrosio, Anesthesiologist, Dies

Longtime Smithtown resident Domenico Ambrosio has died. 

According to a Newsday obituary, Ambrosio, a practicing anesthesiologist since 1966 and member of the Nissequogue Golf Club, passed away on Jan. 12.

Ambrosio is survived by his wife Marie; daughters Maria Grace Karman and Christina DiFiore; and grandchildren Camryn, Christopher, Francesca, Alexander, Stephanie, and Catherine.

The funeral mass is scheduled for Wednesday at 10:30 a.m. at St. Patrick's R.C. Church in Smithtown, with the interment to follow at St. Patrick's Cemetery.
