Election Primaries, School Board Meeting Tuesday in Smithtown

Events

• Registered Republican votes will head to the polls on Tuesday to choose which candidate will run on the Republican line in this November's elections. Primaries are being held for seats of: Smithtown Town Supervisor, Smithtown Town Board and the 13th district of the Suffolk County Legislature. 
  
  
• Smithtown Town Board will hold the first of its two town board meetings in September at 2 p.m. 
  
  
• The Smithtown Board of Education will host its first meeting of the 2013-14 school year at 8 p.m. It will be held at the administrative building on New York Avenue. 
  
  
• Town of Smithtown's Board of Zoning Appeals will host its first meeting of September on Tuesday at 7 p.m. at the Eugene Canataro Senior Citizen Center.
