Events

- Don't miss the Jimmy Buffet Tribute band performing at the Ninth Annual Outdoor Family Summer Concert Series on the lawn of the Smithtown Library's main branch on Thursday night.

Update: The concert has been cancelled due to rain, it has not been rescheduled as of this time.

- Congrats to Ryan Mathie, a Smithtown West graduate, for being honored by the Suffolk County legislature.

Traffic
-Smithtown drivers heading should leave extra time to travel on Route 347 or avoid the area between Route 111/Wheeler Road and Mount Pleasant Road. 

New York State Department of Transportation has started shifting lanes of traffic to pave the center median, starting the second stretch of the Route 347 greenway project. 

- Summer is the time construction peaks, as Landing Avenue bridge is closed for repairs. Drivers are being redirected onto Edgewood Avenue to take Route 25A north. Leave extra time if you plan on heading to the town pools.
