  1. Attention caregivers of patients with dementia, an Effective Communication Strategies event will be hosted on July 31 at the Smithtown Public Library-Commack Building. The event is scheduled for 2 p.m. and is hosted by the Alzheimer Association. Registrations are open and can be made here. (Patch)
