Book Blessing
Smithtown Historical Society is hosting a book signing with Jean Marie Price, author of "Inspired Blessings" this Monday at 7:30 p.m. The book signing will be held at the Frank Brush Barn at 211 Middle Country Road in Smithtown. 

Green Homes Program
Shivering at the thought of winter? Learn how the Long Island Green Homes project can help improve your home's efficiency from reducing bills to and more. Each presentation will include step-by-step instructions on re-writing your homes. The presentation will be held:  7 p.m. Tuesday at the Kings Park Branch; 7 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 20 at the main branch, 7 p.m. Thursday at the Nesconset branch. 

Planning Board
Smithtown Planning Board will host a public meeting 8 p.m. Wednesday at the Eugene A. Cannataro Senior Citizen Center. Stay tuned to Patch this week to find out what's on the agenda. 

Pajama Program
Join the Sunrise-Smithtown Rotary Club at 7:45 a.m. Thursday to learn about the Pajama Program, a nonproft charity organization, from President Petti Cellura.  The Pajama program in an organization that aims to help children in foster care who need pajamas and books to read. 

How to Recognize Signs and Symptoms of a Heart Attack
Dr. Adalbert Pilip, Assistant Clinical Professor of Medicine at Stony Brook University Medical Center, will discuss "How to Recognize Signs and Symptoms of a Heart Attack" at 4 p.m. Thursday at 732 Smithtown Boulevard, Suite 200. 

Smithtown Town Board 
Smithtown Town Board will host their second public meeting 7 p.m. Thursday at the Eugene A. Cannataro Senior Citizen Center. 

All About Toddlers
Join Leah Dombroff, popular parent educator, as she shares effective strategies and techniques to help guide you through the toddler phase at 7 p.m. Thursday at Smithtown Cooperative Nursery School.
