- A three-car crash left one seriously injured in Lake Grove. The incident happened on Monday morning on the Nesconset Highway. John Sinkweich of Bay Shore was taken to a local hospital in serious condition. Any eyewitnesses are asked to contact 631-854-8652. (Patch)
- Student athletes at Smithtown high schools are getting their sports facilities improved this summer. Crews are working on the turf, tracks, and sports courts upgrading windows and fire alarm systems. (Smithtown Patch)
