Josephine Bacchi, Longtime Smithtown Resident, Dies

Longtime Smithtown resident Josephine Bacchi has died. She was 107 years old.

According to a Newsday obituary, Bacchi passed away on Jan. 23. She is survived by her nephew Russell and niece Josephine Loeb, as well as 12 grand nieces and nephews.

Bacchi's burial mass was held on Monday at 9:30 a.m. at St. Joseph's Roman Catholic Church, with an interment held at St. Johns Cemetery.
