Long Island Breweries Win At 2025 New York State Brewers Conference Awards

LONG ISLAND, NY — Several members of The Long Island Brewers Guild earned top honors at the prestigious 2025 New York State Brewers Conference Awards, held in March, the guild announced.

The annual competition recognizes excellence in craft beer across the state, with hundreds of breweries competing in a wide range of style categories judged by industry professionals.

The following members of The Long Island Brewers Guild won medals:

Gold medal winners:

• Bright Eye Beer Co. (Long Beach) – Dos Ojos
• Bright Eye Beer Co. (Long Beach) – From the Top Kolsch

• Destination Unknown Beer Company (Bay Shore) – Quad Rainbow
• Destination Unknown Beer Company (Bay Shore) – Honey Do List
• Destination Unknown Beer Company (Bay Shore) – Eleanor
• Greenport Harbor Brewing Co. (Greenport) – Hopnami
• Montauk Brewing Co. (Montauk) – Montauk Pilsner
• Saint James Brewery (Holbrook) – Cream Ale

Bronze medal winner:

• Great South Bay Brewery (Bay Shore) – Cosmic Juice

"These wins are a testament to the incredible work being done by Long Island breweries," said a guild representative in a news release. "From innovative styles to classic executions, our brewers continue to lead the charge in quality, creativity, and community."

The New York State Brewers Conference Awards are part of the annual NYS Brewers Conference, which brings together brewing professionals from across the state for education, networking, and celebration.

Medals are awarded following blind tastings by certified judges who evaluate each entry based on aroma, flavor, mouthfeel, and overall impression.

"The Long Island Brewers Guild celebrates the achievements of its members and invites beer lovers to raise a glass in honor of these hometown heroes," the guild stated.
