Live Music Concerts Returning To Smithtown: Info

TOWN OF SMITHTOWN, NY — Free outdoor live musical concerts are on the docket for Long Beach in Nissequogue and Hoyt Farm in Commack all summer, the Town of Smithtown Recreation Department announced Tuesday.

Residents can enjoy live music at Long Beach at 7 p.m. on Fridays, while people can head over to Hoyt Farm for more music at 7 p.m. on Sundays.

The Summer Concert Series features a vast selection of genres, from doo wop and classic rock, to billboard hits from some of the best tribute bands on Long Island.

July 16 will feature a day of performances at Hoyt Farm for children in elementary grades. The program will feature five special shows starting at 3 p.m. Performances include Getting Zen with Erin (Yoga), Rockin’ Ron the Friendly Pirate, Magic of Amore, a Puppet Show Extravaganza, and Greg Milstein (One Man Circus).

Concerts are open to Smithtown residents on a first-come, first-served basis. A town parking sticker or proof of residency is required upon entering Long Beach or Hoyt Farm. Residents are encouraged to bring chairs and picnic dinners. Handicap parking is available.
