- A 29-year-old man died in a motorized scooter accident in Smithtown. Police say he was riding on Route 25A when he lost control of his scooter and fell on the curb. Unfortunately, he died at a local hospital from head trauma. Investigators are asking eyewitnesses to contact the police if any information about the incident. (News 12 Long Island)
