  1. A man was arrested in Smithtown concerning the murder of a couple in Selden. Ian Saalfield and Robert Julian were found in their home on Hollywood Avenue in Selden in 2022. The 48-year-old man allegedly involved in the murders was arrested during a traffic stop on Columbus Avenue in Smithtown. (Smithtown Matters)

U.S. Congressman Nick LaLota shared the numbers of federal funding granted to be invested in road safety in the town of Brookhaven.
