- Ben Blanchet of Kings Park released a Christmas Song now streaming on Spotify, Apple Music, Pandora and others. Blanchet has autism and wants to spread awareness of the challenges that are faced by autistic kids and the "superpower" they have to reach some of their goals. - A man was taken to a local hospital after being hit on the head while walking on West Main Street in Smithtown. The attacker used a baseball bat to hit the victim on the head and fled from the scene at 4:21 a.m. The man suffered a fractured skull. - Smithtown Sweetbriar Center staff will be at the Studio of the Gallery North in Setauket to lead the Raptor Sketch Night. - A hate crime-related arrest has been made at Eastern Suffolk BOCES Sequoya High school. A 14-year-old was charged after threatening to kill members of the LGBTO community last week, according to the police. The case was brought to Suffolk County Family Court.
