Martin Harte, Longtime St. James Resident, Dies

Longtime St. James resident Martin Harte has died.

Harte passed away on Feb. 16. He was the husband of the late Patricia, father of Tricia Fortunato and Martin Jr., and the grandfather of seven children.

Visitation is open to friends and family in the South Chapel of the St. James Funeral Home, located at 829 Middle Country Rd. on Wednesday from 7-9 p.m. and Thursday from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m., with the interment to follow at St. Patrick’s Cemetery in Hauppauge.
