Motorcyclist Badly Hurt In Suffolk Crash: Police

CENTEREACH, NY — A motorcyclist was badly injured in a Thursday morning crash in Centereach, police said. .

Troy English, 33, of Brentwood, was operating a Honda CVR motorcycle northbound on Wireless Road when he collided with a Honda Civic heading southbound that was attempting to make a left-hand at Lynn Street, police said.

English was taken to hospital with serious injuries, police said.

The 90-year-old driver of the Honda, Ruth Cohen, of Coram, was brought to a hospital with non-life-threatening injuries, police said.

Both vehicles were impounded for safety checks.
