Nearly $6K In Sunglasses Stolen From Lake Grove Shop: Police

A man and woman stole the sunglasses from Sunglass Hut at Smith Haven Mall, police say. They are wanted for grand larceny.

LAKE GROVE, NY — Suffolk County Crime Stoppers is seeking the public's help finding the man and woman who, police said, stole from a store inside the Smith Haven Mall in Lake Grove last month.

A man and woman entered Macy’s and stole 15 pairs of sunglasses from the Sunglass Hut kiosk
inside Macy’s around 1:40 p.m. Dec. 21, police said. The glasses were valued at approximately $5,940, police said. The duo is wanted for grand larceny.

Police ask anyone with information to reach Suffolk County Crime Stoppers and leave an anonymous tip via phone call at 1-800-220-TIPS, using a mobile app which can be downloaded through the App Store or Google Play by searching P3 Tips, or online at www.P3Tips.com. A cash reward is offered for information that leads to an arrest.
