The community festival is scheduled for 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday, May 18, at Nesconset Gazebo Park on Smithtown Boulevard, Nesconset. The festival includes a "foodie fest," with some of the "most delicious food trucks on Long Island," Balaker told Patch. Food trucks will serve up artisan pizza and Italian sandwiches, Latin flavors, gourmet roast beef sandwiches, loaded and gourmet hot dogs, special Long Island breakfast egg sandwiches, charcuterie cups, fresh lemonade, all natural smoothies, "the island's best lobster rolls and soups, burgers, and also desserts," Balaker said.

There will also be cotton candy, ice cream, gourmet coffees and mocktails, plus a non-alcoholic elixir bar for adults. There will also be craft beer.

Three local bands will perform live music.

The duo of Almost Elijah is set to open the festival; the Lisa Polizzi Band "to get the crowd going," and WildFire the Band to close the afternoon out, Balaker said.

"Dancing, flow arts and whatever you feel compelled to do!" Balaker said. "Kids are, of course, not forgotten, as there is face painting, a bounce house, fairy hair, and a mechanical bull ride! So much happening, do not miss it!!"
