Overnight Closures Coming To Veterans Memorial Highway In Smithtown
The closures are expected during weeknights for approximately four weeks for pavement resurfacing.
TOWN OF SMITHTOWN, NY — Overnight lane closures are coming to Veterans Memorial Highway in the Town of Smithtown, the New York State Department of Transportation announced Thursday.
The closures are set to begin on Monday. One lane in either direction of Veterans Memorial Highway (State Route 454) between Jericho Turnpike (State Route 25) and Old Willets Path in the Town of Smithtown is subject to closure weeknights between 10 p.m. and 6 a.m. for approximately four weeks, weather permitting, for pavement resurfacing.
Crews are due to begin in the eastbound direction and then proceed westbound.
