Pedestrian Killed In Suffolk Hit-And-Run Crash: Police
BREAKING: The driver is wanted after fleeing the scene of a crash that left a woman dead, police say.
LAKE GROVE, NY — A pedestrian was killed in a hit-and-run crash in Lake Grove early Saturday, Suffolk police said.
A woman was crossing Nesconset Highway, near Hallock Road, when she was struck by a vehicle
traveling eastbound at 6:20 a.m., police said. The motorist kept driving, police said.
The woman, whose name is being withheld pending notification of next of kin, was pronounced dead at the scene, police said.
