PHOTO: Gas Station Changes Payment Pricing Ways

A longtime St. James gas station is now charging the same price for cash and credit.

Sunoco, located at 560 Middle Country Road near Wendy's, recently made the change and announced it with a double-sided sign sitting alongside the road.

Last year a number of local gas stations were under harsh criticism for charging significantly more for charging gas versus paying by credit card. In November of last year Suffolk County Executive Steve Bellone warned price gougers that price gouging in Suffolk County would "not be tolerated."
